A bottle of Campaign

Finally the weekend, and home sweet home.

I'm bushed, after today's softball training. Muscle aches incoming tomorrow. It sure wasn't easy alright. My throwing is absolutely disastrous now. But i'm getting back the feeling soon. And my fielding instincts are still there. Hopefully i can enjoy playing softball once more, this time at a casual, easy pace.

It's been a particularly long week, choked with sleepless nights and drowsy days. We spent hours of painstaking effort on our propaganda machine, toiled tirelessly at garnering support, and poured our hearts into the rally, into our speech. Our Party Action People (PAP)'s campaign for JCRC culminated in voting day on thurs night.. It was crazy fun, getting everyone's signatures on our boards, giving out our last limited edition Free Hugs, tossing out our heart-shaped balloons, and even going on our last bit of door-knocking together! We were probably the craziest, most attention-grabbing people of the election.

Well, it has really been a memorable time for all of us. Despite the voting results, the campaign will remain one of our cherished memories in Hall XI. We have gained so much, because we had the courage and passion to give it our very best. And now, as the dust settles, the entire horizon beckons to us.

My journey as Block 54 Manager begins here, too.
