"Do not do today what you can do tomorrow"

Recess week...and i can't believe i'm procrastinating things the way i am now!

Sunday night, came back to hall, whiled the time away on Java assignment question 4.

Monday, spent on an accountancy group project meeting. Came back, researched a lil while msn-ing, played softball with Brandon, then went for a long dinner with Luojun, Jessica and peeps. Came back for Java qn 5, then went jogging with the guys. After that, rested at my chair, while designing our block tshirt design. Xiao Wen came in and we started talking about loads of stuff! About an hour plus... till her laundry was done haha. Realised i hadn't showered yet! By the time i'd cleaned and brushed, it was 3am... almost tempted to go up to her room for late night snacks! Finally retired at 4am.

Tuesday. Woke at twelve, got Alvin to buy me lunch, set to work on researching on The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. Two pm, rushed off with Jek and Junhao to Queensway. Shopped for new soccer boots and socks, then hurried to Marina Square. I crashed my senior batch's dinner outing :) I tried to blend in with them, and hmm... talked to JH for once haha. We had dessert, then split off to return home.

And here i am in hall, at 3 am, having spent the past few hours getting ppl to come for the USA work-and-travel scheme with me, as well as researching about the 'grotesque in literature'. Oh and count in the time wasted on chasing a damn bee out of my room... and there you have it.

Wednesday morning is softball training, rest of day to meet up with Joy. Thursday, our JCRC photoshoot. Friday is dinner with Sis ah girl. Sat, trekking at MacRitchie.

WTF!

I am so screwed.

One programming assignment, one 1,000 word essay, one accounting grp project due.

Somebody stop this madness!

Plans

I had my first quiz on Friday, and it was a total massacre.

It's going to be an uphill task getting my smarts back after a 2 years hiatus, i guess. Spent the whole week trying to study, while juggling all my block manager duties. I'd just drop dead after every lecture or tutorial. And the quiz really made me recognise my inadequacies and my pride for thinking any less of it. I'm all set to gear up from now on. GPA 10.0! Haha that's my aim for now.

It seems like every week feels longer than the last. We had our first block supper this week, a slew of new plans for block activities, and block banner painting this afternoon. We all just have to get used to it, i guess.

Listened to stories of India from Saransh and his friends, about the caste system, education, life and all. The idea of just running off to India and travelling with them when they return to India later this year is way too enticing. I haven't made any travel plans yet, since JCRC is likely to burn up my hols. Low on moolah, anyway.

Besides, i'm still troubled.

Busy-ness

My first time touching my laptop in days. It's been one day after the other, flipping through as if someone's speedreading my life. From monday's crazy Java lab to the volleyball game in the evening to a JCRC meeting to sleeping at wee hours in the morn.

Had a breezy time with lectures today, while acclimatising to my block manager role, messaging people and planning up my subcomm. My studies are still suffering till i get used to the busy-ness. Had fun during the hall production interviews, played a lil reversi, then did a subcomm briefing for the guys at night. Lastly poker cards in Shaun's room, to end us even later in bed :)

There is seriously something wrong. Everyday seems like monday now!
